Why Malaysia?
Government Support
This programme is initiated, organised and launched by the Malaysian Government and is thus one that the Government will continuously seek to improve, to ensure its success.
Culture & Language
The Multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and multi-religious population is hospitable and makes adapting to a different lifestyle easy. English and several Asian languages are widely spoken.
Infrastructure
The sophisticated network of road, rail, air, sea connections and telecommunications assure connectivity.
Education
Over 30 international schools are offering pre-school to college education, in several language media.
Healthcare Facilities
Healthcare facilities are modern. It is possible to see a doctor without prior appointment and the cost of hospitalization and medical care are fraction of that in the developed world.
Recreation & Entertainment
The country has everything for the family, theme parks, jungle trails, water sports and one of the highest numbers of golf courses.
Foods & Fruits
International cuisine is available here at very reasonable cost. With so many races and cultures living together in harmony, it is understandable that each race has picked up the best of each other’s food and made Malaysia into Asia’s Food Paradise. Similarly the tropical fruits of Malaysia are unique, exotic and available in abundance practically throughout the year. It should be a real joy to savour these fruits.
Weather
The weather is pleasant, warm and balmy with moderate rain throughout the year. There are also highland residential areas and resorts with permanent spring-like weather throughout the country.
Shopping
Quality goods from all over the world are imported and are relatively low in price and sold throughout Malaysia. You will not miss your familiar daily needs or favourites as the hypermarkets are well-stocked with international brand.
Safety
Statistics can proof that Malaysia is one of the safest countries in the world; its crime rate is relatively low.
